I love helping people learn new things. I enjoy learning myself too, but it's very rewarding to be able to help someone else learn something successfully. I thought of my ability to customize my tutoring approach to match the needs, goals, and learning style of each student that I work with. I have several years of high school teaching experience, and I've tutored in a number of different subjects areas. These include English, grammar, ESL, writing, literature, essays, history, accounting, biology, business, middle school math, pre-calculus, algebra, anatomy and physiology, ACT prep, economics, LSAT prep, GRE prep, statistics, study skills, psychology, SAT prep, PSAT prep, and many others. My specialties as a tutor include trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and test preparation. When I have free time, I like to swim, read, watch sports, play board games, ride horses, go to concerts, cook, and hang out with my friends and family.
